Congratulations to Josh who successfully planned and flew his first cross country flight to another aerodrome today! This involved a detailed analysis of the weather at altitude, checking airspace for any areas to avoid today, planning a suitable route, at a suitable altitude, and working out which way to point the plane according to which way and how strong the wind was blowing. In addition, calculating fuel required, making sure the aircraft was not overweight, and flying into a completely new place while doing all of the radio work too! All in a day's work Josh! A huge step towards your licence!
